Our Staff
Kaliegh Thomson – Revelstoke Office
Kaliegh grew up skiing and then snowboarding in Revelstoke. It is here where her addiction for powder began. Eagle Pass, family and the world famous powder have drawn her back to the small city she now calls home.
Besides her love for snowboarding she also enjoys long boarding, water sports, fly fishing, traveling, music as well as cooking and baking for her husband, friends and family.
Kaliegh holds a Degree in Tourism Management and brings years of experience in the tourism and adventure tourism industry. She works in the office year-round doing an array of tasks but you may also meet her out at the lodge when you are checking in or out.
Ron Husband – Client Services
Ron was born and raised in Revelstoke but left after graduation to pursue and receive his MBA from the University of Calgary. Skiing and snowboarding have always been a life-long passion but he also enjoys golf, hunting and is an avid outdoorsman and sport enthusiast.
A free spirited entrepreneur, Ron has been involved in several start-up businesses. Ron is married with 2 children, and he currently resides in Alberta.
Shannon Robinson – Revelstoke Office
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria, but prior to Eagle Pass Heliskiing, her employment was as an Initial Attack Crewleader with the Rapattack forest fire suppression program in Salmon Arm. Believe it or not, she really does miss the smoke, sweat, dirt, chainsawing and helicopter rappels. This is Shannon’s first real ‘office job’, but is frequently stuck indoors lately anyway, running her art business on the side – Shannon Robinson Art & Design.
Shannon grew up in Revelstoke, walking home after skiing at the old Mt. MacKenzie hill. Now that she snowboards instead, life is even better. Loud music, running, travelling, cycling, drawing, hiking, learning French, and, more recently, dirtbiking and MMA training, are all a part of the growing list of things that make her life super fun.
Katherine Weed
– Massage Therapist
Katherine grew up in Ontario but she always knew she would make a life for herself in the mountains of western Canada. After graduating from university 6 years ago, she made the move to BC to pursue her passion for the mountains and snowboarding. Since then, she has spent time in Whistler, Vancouver, Revelstoke, Central America, South America, and most recently, Indonesia. She completed her massage training while living in Vancouver, receiving certification in several types of massage and bodywork, including deep tissue, Swedish relaxation, reiki (a form of energy healing), joint release, and zen shiatsu (a form of Japanese acupressure).
Today, she is completely in love with the life she has created and is living her dream. She calls Revelstoke home, and just this summer, started her own business in town called The Mindful Body Massage and Shiatsu. She is very passionate about massage and the healing effects it has on the body, mind and spirit. Her treatments are unique, and consist of a fusion of modalities, creating an experience tailored to each individual. When she’s not massaging sore muscles, you can find her outside playing on her snowboard or practicing her beloved yoga.
Phil hails from New Zealand. He and his family have relocated to Revelstoke to experience the mountains of Western Canada. Phil has extensive mountain flying and heliskiing experience in both Canada and New Zealand. Phil is also a skier and a mountaineer. Working as Eagle Pass Heliskiing’s chief pilot is Phil’s dream job!
