A fun and gregarious group from the UK settled in and immediately fit in with the non-pretentious atmosphere at the lodge. Headed by Malcolm and Will, the crew team was quite diverse in age, with 2 fathers bringing their deserved daughter and son. The camaraderie was ‘over the top.’ Admittedly the weather did not fully cooperate to start the week, with a day at our local resort (with the highest vertical in North America!) ushering in the week due to poor visibility. But the clouds parted, and the alpine was left with some heavenly conditions. Two new wonderful runs were skied and named; “Brilliant” and “Pete’s Run” – named in honor of Will’s close friend.  A great variety of terrain was skied and enjoyed, from open glades, burns, and some epic monstrous alpine bowls.  A few days were especially aesthetically pleasing, with blankets of clouds exposing glimpses of peaks in the sunshine.  A memorable week was had by both the guests and staff alike.
