Richard takes the Eagle Pass record for the most last minute booking. He called our office from the airport with only minutes until he boarded a plane for Kelowna, BC. He knew he was headed to the Revelstoke area but had not quite decided which operation to go to. We had him convinced when we told him that we could pick him up that same evening. He would be at the lodge in time for glass of wine and introduction to the guides and other guests. Eagle Pass staff were waiting at the airport with their fully loaded SUV for his personal shuttle to Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge. He was able to have a complete nights rest and was ready to snowboard a full that day the next morning. The best part was that he ended up staying for 5 days instead of 3 as originally planned. Richard is a pleasure to be around and we hope his first heli trip of the year was a memorable and fun time in the mountains. As the title states Richard rips. He has been snowboarding for 20 years and it shows. Take a look at his toe-side turns.
Richard was able to escape from a busy and hectic work schedule for trip number two this season. He made himself right at home and quickly got to know all of the other guests. He enjoyed more soul turns in the powder and even tried out the NoBoard! By the end of the week he had made plans to book when Pam and Lesly come again next year and to potentially be back one more time for back country Noboarding and heliboarding!
