Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing is a new tenure which lies in the heart of the best helicopter skiing country in Canada, the Monashee Mountains. Our tenure is bordered by two of Canada’s largest helicopter skiing companies Canadian Mountain Holidays and Selkirk Tangiers Helicopter Skiing and is just south of Mike Wigele Helicopter Skiing’s southern boundary.
This area of the Monashees is known for deep snow. The west slope of the Monashees is the first mountainous area east of BC’s Coast Mountains. Because of this we get near coastal amounts of snow with cooler interior temperatures.
This high quality snow, coupled with perfectly spaced trees, open bowls and glaciers results in what many experienced skiers consider to be the best deep powder helicopter skiing in the world.
At Eagle Pass Helicopter Skiing we have many classic tree runs very close to the lodge. This fantastic close skiing is a great advantage during periods of heavy snowfall.
