Eagle Pass is pleased to offer heli ski touring packages which are a new concept in backcountry skiing. Heli ski touring uses the helicopter to access the remote mountainous regions that ski tourers are seeking and to return to the lodge at the end of the day.

The guests and guide ski tour throughout the day using climbing skins and randonee bindings to ascend to the tops of wondrous ski terrain. The intial helicopter drop in the morning will be on top whenever possible! This allows the backcountry enthusiast easy access to fresh powder and a remote wilderness experience while still enjoying the amenities of the lodge in the evenings.That means great meals, bar service, hot tub, and comfortable beds.

For the 2009 season, Eagle Pass will offering these packages solely in the month of April, the prime season for ski touring in the Monashees. typically during this month the mountain ranges are still getting storms that provide for light powder, interspread with sunny conditions. The snow pack is often more predictable and travelling conditions exceptional.
